Privacy

How Micropreneur handles account and commerce data.

Information we process

SchoonLabs processes the information needed to operate Micropreneur: account identity and verification state; onboarding and workspace details; purchase, receipt, entitlement, and license records; support correspondence; and limited security and operational logs.

Licenses and payment data

A license is displayed in plaintext once. Micropreneur retains only its SHA-256 digest and a safe prefix so the credential can be validated, rotated, or revoked. Stripe processes payment details; Micropreneur stores provider identifiers, amounts, status, and receipt links rather than complete card data.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides application hosting and data infrastructure. Stripe processes payments. Google may provide social sign-in, Resend delivers account email, and GitHub hosts product source and related development services. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy commitments.

Retention, security, and requests

Data is retained while an account or entitlement remains active and as needed for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and operational purposes. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no system is completely secure. To request access, correction, or deletion, email dan@micropreneur.dev. Some purchase records may be retained when required by law.

Effective August 24, 2026.
